Jeff,

I am so glad I found you-in short my deaf brother fell rendering him a C3-C4 quad-through months of therapy he can haltingly walk with a walker-his feelings are similar to yours-some feeling here not else where-my question, he developed "seizures" shortly after the blood thinner was stopped-no proof to this theory-EEG shows nothing never had these symptoms before Body spasms, distant thoughts-hard to focus never had this before accident-did you experience anything similar-Dr's are baffled so offer little help.

If you have any thoughts I would appreciate it-or anyone who sees this-

Thank you for your story it is amazing maybe he will read the blog and come forward.

Thanks

Carol

This story gives me goose bumps. It's an incredible and terrifying accident and an amazing rescue and a wonderful recovery. I hope you can find your savior and get to shake his hand.

Wow...I know exactly where you're coming from! I am currently in a Halo and I can't wait to get out of it so I can go and thank the EMS team that both cut me out of the vehicle and took enough care of my neck so that I wasn't paralyzed or dead. I don't know who they were since I was unconscious but at the very least I am going to go to the station and let whoever is there know how grateful I am.

I broke both of my c2's in a car accident. I was hit from behind never even saw the car that it me. A nurse stopped and told me not to move, I believe she saved my life and saved me from a wheel chair. I have pain, but I can deal from it.

I am so glad to hear that you are still with us. I broke c2 and c3 on April fools day 99 in a fall down the stairs. I had a "full recovery". Even living with chronic pain I know I am lucky. It's good to know I am not alone.
